Installation Procedure

    Automatic Transmission Flex Plate (2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    Install NEW bolts.

  2. Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Bolt (1) - Loosely install [8x]

    Install the EN-652  holder (2), lock the automatic transmission flex plate via the starter ring gear.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

    Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Bolt (1) - Tighten in the sequence shown.

    Tighten

    1. First Pass:30 N.m (22 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass:an additional 70 degrees using EN-45059 
  5. Remove the EN-652  holder.
  6. Transmission - Install - Transmission Replacement
