Oil Pan Installation

Clean the sealing surfaces.
- Apply approximately a 3 mm (0, 12 in) thick bead of oil pan sealant (1) to the oil pan. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for the recommended sealant.
Install the oil pan (2) to lower crankcase.
- Install the 13 oil pan bolts (1) to the lower crankcase and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Mind the different bolt length.
NOTE:
The assembly time, including torque check, must take no longer than 10 minutes.
