Fuel Injection Pump Installation

Check the intake camshaft position.
- Insert a plastic ruler (2) until it stops against the cam (1).
- Draw a line (3) at the plastic ruler with a pen.
- NOTE:
Second technician is required.
Rotate the camshaft (1) at the crankshaft until the lowest point of the plastic ruler (2) is reached.
Fuel Injection Pump Shaft Lifter Roller (4) - Install
- Fuel Injection Pump Gasket (3) - Install a NEW gasket.
- Fuel Injection Pump (1) - Install
- Install the 2 fuel injection pump bolts (3) alternating in steps of turn.
- Fuel Injection Pump Bolt (2) - tighten 11 N.m (97 lb in).
