Removal Procedure

- Engine Front Cover Replacement - Remove
- NOTE:
Prior to removing the timing chain tensioner shoe, reset the tensioner plunger and inspect for proper operation. Camshaft Timing Chain and Sprocket Cleaning and Inspection .
Remove the timing chain tensioner shoe fastener (1) then remove the tensioner shoe (2).
Timing Chain Guide Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

Timing Chain (1) - Remove
Remove the timing chain oil nozzle (1).
