Removal Procedure

- Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
Lower Oil Pan Bolt (1) - Remove [12x]
- Lower Oil Pan (2) - Remove and DISCARD
- Clean and inspect the oil pan and mating surfaces. Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection
CAUTION:
Always replace the used oil pan with a new oil pan. The lower oil pan becomes damaged during removal and oil leaks may occur if it is not replaced with a new oil pan.
