Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
- Exhaust Manifold Brace - Remove - Exhaust Manifold Brace Replacement (LTG)
Thermostat Bypass Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage
- Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Hose Clamp (2) - Disengage
Thermostat Bypass Pipe Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Thermostat Bypass Pipe (2) - Remove
- Thermostat Bypass Pipe Gasket (3) - Remove and DISCARD
