Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
Install a NEW thermostat bypass pipe gasket.
Thermostat Bypass Pipe Gasket (3) - Install
- Thermostat Bypass Pipe (2) - Install
- Thermostat Bypass Pipe Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 10 N.m (89 lb in)
Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Hose Clamp (2) - Engage
- Thermostat Bypass Hose Clamp (1) - Engage
- Exhaust Manifold Brace - Install - Exhaust Manifold Brace Replacement (LTG)
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
- Start the engine and check for leaks.
