Installation Procedure

When installing the engine oil cooler, position the engine oil cooler so that the tab (1) is against the engine block (2).
Install a NEW seal. (3)
- Install the engine oil cooler. (2)
- Install the engine oil cooler connector. 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
Install the oil cooler inlet and outlet hoses. (2) Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Install the engine oil cooler pipe fastener.10 N.m (89 lb in)
- Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield Replacement - Install
- Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic ConverterInstall - - Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (LTG)
- Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
- Change the engine oil and filter. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
