Removal Procedure

Intake Manifold Cover (1) - Remove - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose (2) @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove
Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose (2) @ Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Outlet Pipe - Remove
Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Clip (1) @ Wiring Harness - Unclip
- Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Connector Retainer (2) - Disengage
- Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Connector (3) @ Water Outlet - Remove
- Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose (4) - Remove
- Transfer components as necessary.
