Transmission Oil Cooler Lines

The transmission oil cooler lines use quick connect fittings on the transmission oil cooler lines near the A/C condenser. The quick connect fittings must be removed using a special tool. The transmission oil cooler is an oil-to-air heat exchanger located between the A/C condenser and the radiator or inside the right side end tank of the radiator. The transmission oil temperature is regulated by the temperature of the air passing over the heat exchanger. Lines from the transmission bring oil pumped at a high pressure to the cooler and back to the transmission. This provides uninterrupted transmission oil flow for low ambient temperature conditions.
