- The sunshade glass is controlled by an integrated motor/controller containing the motor, electronics, and position sensors. If the motor and sunshade mechanism get out of sync the sunshade may operate erratically. To re-synchronize the motor and sunshade mechanism, perform the Sunroof/Sunshade Motor Initialization .
- The sunshade control module provides obstacle/blockage detection. If the Sunroof/Sunshade Motor Initialization is not carried out completely, the sunshade may stop and reverse slightly when it gets to the location where it needs to push down the windscreen. Make sure to complete the process.
