Component Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector:A98 Front Overhead Console Assembly
  3. Test for the resistance listed below between the test points:
    • If not the specified value 

      Replace the component:A98 Front Overhead Console Assembly

    • Go to next step: If the specified value 
  4. All OK.
Switch - Position  Test the resistance between the test points:  Nominal Resistance [Ohm] 
Sunroof - Not Pressed Signal terminal 9 & Low Reference terminal 20 3.0 k to 4.1 kohms
Sunroof - Open Signal terminal 9 & Low Reference terminal 20 400 to 460 ohms
Sunroof - Close Signal terminal 9 & Low Reference terminal 20 1.5 k to 2.0 kohms
Sunroof - Express Close Signal terminal 9 & Low Reference terminal 20 875 to 975 ohms
Sunroof - Express Open Signal terminal 9 & Low Reference terminal 20 75 to 115 ohms
