Circuit/System Verification

Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify the function:Radio Controls=Inoperative
- If the specified state
  Refer to:Symptoms - Entertainment
- Go to next step: If not the specified state
Press the following button:S70R Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Right - All
Verify the scan tool parameter:Steering Wheel Control Switches=Displays each of the specified states.
- If not the specified state
  Replace the component:S70R Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Right
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Operate the component:S70E Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Radio Presets - Next Preset & Previous Preset
Verify the scan tool parameter:Steering Wheel Control Switches=Displays each of the specified states.
- If not the specified state
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing/S70E Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Radio Presets
Operate the component:S70F Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Radio Volume - Volume Down Button & Volume Up Button
Verify the scan tool parameter:Steering Wheel Control Switches=Displays each of the specified states.
- If not the specified state
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing/S70F Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Radio Volume
- Go to next step: If the specified state
All OK.
