Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 Chevrolet Malibu. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect a 3 A fused jumper wire between the test points:5 V Reference terminal 3 & 5 V @ K20 Engine Control Module
  2. Connect a jumper wire between the test points:Low Reference terminal 1 & Ground
  3. Test for 2.5 to 4.0 V between the test points:Signal terminal 2 & Low Reference terminal 1
    • If not between 2.5 and 4.0 V 

      Replace the component:B310 Fuel Pressure/Temperature Sensor

    • Go to next step: If between 2.5 and 4.0 V 
  4. All OK.
