Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:
  • DTC P1178 and P1179 are informational DTCs.
  • Diagnose all other engine control module DTCs prior to DTC P1178 or P1179.
  1. Verify that no other DTCs are set except for DTC P1178 or P1179.
    • Go to next step: If only DTC P1178 or P1179 is set 
  2. Replace the K111 Fuel Pump Power Control Module.
  3. Verify the DTC does not set while operating the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC.
    • If DTC sets 

      Replace the K20 Engine Control Module.

    • Go to next step: If DTC does not set 
  4. All OK.
