Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Verify the scan tool parameter:
    • { P1176 } Fuel Pump Driver Control Module 5V Reference 1 = 4.8 to 5.2 V
    • { P1177 } Fuel Pump Driver Control Module 5V Reference 2 = 4.8 to 5.2 V
    • If not the specified value 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the specified value 
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.

    Verify the DTC does not set.

    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  4. All OK.
