Control Valve Body Installation

Callout Component Name
1 Control Valve Body Locating Pin [2x]
2 Control Valve Body

Procedure

  1. Install control valve body on case.
  2. Align the manual shift detent lever in the groove of the manual valve.
3 Valve Body Bolt [2x] M5 x 55
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
8 N.m (71 lb in)

Control Valve Solenoid Body Installation

Callout Component Name
1 Control Valve Solenoid Body
2 Automatic Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor Seal [2x]
Procedure 
Install a NEW seal. Do NOT reuse the old seal.
3 Automatic Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor [2x]
4 Valve Body Bolt [7x] M5 x 70
Procedure 
Hand tighten and follow torque sequence below.
5 Valve Body Bolt [7x] M5 x 100
Procedure 
Hand tighten and follow torque sequence below.
6 Valve Body Bolt [11x] M5 x 85
Procedure 
Hand tighten and follow torque sequence below.
7 Valve Body Bolt [2x] M5 x 98.3
Procedure 
Hand tighten and follow torque sequence below.

1 Valve Body Bolt [7x] M5 x 70
Tighten in sequence 
8 N.m (71 lb in)
2 Valve Body Bolt [7x] M5 x 100
Tighten in sequence 
8 N.m (71 lb in)
3 Valve Body Bolt [11x] M5 x 85
Tighten in sequence 
8 N.m (71 lb in)
4 Valve Body Bolt [2x] M5 x 98.3
Tighten in sequence 
8 N.m (71 lb in)

Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness Installation

Callout Component Name
1 Automatic Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Seal
Procedure 
Install a NEW seal. Do NOT reuse the old seal.
2 Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness
Procedure
  1. Install the wiring harness.
  2. Connect the harness connectors.
  3. Slide connector lock as indicated by arrow.
3 Wiring Harness Connector Bolt [2x] M5 x 25
Tighten 
8 N.m (71 lb in)
4 Wiring Harness Connector Bolt M5 x 20
Tighten 
8 N.m (71 lb in)
