Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Operate the component:S64D Seat Adjuster Switch - Driver - Select each position
    • {Down/Released/Up}Verify the scan tool parameter:Driver Seat Cushion Front Vertical Switch = Down/Inactive/Up
    • {Down/Released/Up}Verify the scan tool parameter:Driver Seat Cushion Rear Vertical Switch = Down/Inactive/Up
    • {Forward/Released/Rearward}Verify the scan tool parameter:Driver Seat Horizontal Switch = Forward/Inactive/Rearward
    • {Forward/Released/Rearward}Verify the scan tool parameter:Driver Seat Back Switch = Forward/Inactive/Rearward
    • If not the specified state 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 1

    • Go to next step: If the specified state 
  3. Operate the component:
    • M50D Seat Front Vertical Motor - Driver
    • M51D Seat Horizontal Motor - Driver
    • M55D Seat Rear Vertical Motor - Driver
    • M56D Seat Recline Motor - Driver
  4. Verify the component operates in both directions:Forward & Rearward/Up & Down
    • If the component does not work as specified 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 2

    • Go to next step: If all components operate 
  5. All OK.
