Circuit/System Verification

Engine - Idling
Operate the component:
- Driver Seat Heating = On
- Passenger Seat Heating = On
- Verify the component activates:
- If none of the components operate
  Refer to:Front Heated Seat Malfunction
- Go to next step: If all components operate
Operate the component:Driver Seat Venting Switch - Pressed
Verify the scan tool parameter:Driver Seat Heating/Venting/Cooling Mode = Seat Venting/Cooling - High
- If not the specified state
  Replace the component:A26 HVAC Controls
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Operate the component:Passenger Seat Venting Switch - Pressed
Verify the scan tool parameter:Passenger Seat Heating/Venting/Cooling Mode = Seat Venting/Cooling - High
- If not the specified state
  Replace the component:A26 HVAC Controls
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Operate the component:
- Driver Seat Venting Switch - On and Off
- Passenger Seat Venting Switch - On and Off
- Verify the component turns On and Off:
  - Blower Motor Assembly - Back
  - Blower Motor Assembly - Seat Cushion
- If the component is always Off
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- If the component is always On
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If all components operate
All OK.
