Disassembly Procedure

Front Wheel Drive Shaft - Remove - Front Wheel Drive Half Shaft Replacement - Left Side (MKE) Front Wheel Drive Half Shaft Replacement - Left Side (M3E) Front Wheel Drive Half Shaft Replacement - Left Side (MRG) , and Front Wheel Drive Half Shaft Replacement - Right Side (LTG) Front Wheel Drive Half Shaft Replacement - Right Side (LKN) Front Wheel Drive Half Shaft Replacement - Right Side (LFV)
Place the wheel drive shaft horizontally in a bench vise.

Using a side cutter or other suitable tool, remove the retaining clamps (1) from the inner CV boot.

DISCARD the clamps.

Using a suitable driver and a hammer, remove the CV joint (1) from the wheel drive shaft (2).

Remove the CV boot (1) from the wheel drive shaft (2).

DISCARD the boot.
