Installation Procedure

  1. Install the brake hose to the vehicle.
  2. GM4231237
    NOTE:

    Install NEW brake hose fitting gaskets.

    Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (1) @ Brake Hose Fitting (2) - Install [2x]

  3. GM4231232
    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

    Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)

  4. GM4235933

    Brake Hose Retainer (1) - Install

  5. GM4235932

    Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

  6. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure)  Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual)  
  7. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
