Installation Procedure

  1. GM4234325

    Brake and Accelerator Pedal Assembly (1) - Install

  2. GM4234253
    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

    Brake and Accelerator Pedal Assembly Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  3. GM4234250

    Brake and Accelerator Pedal Assembly Nut (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  4. GM4194490

    Steering Column (1) - Install - Steering Column Replacement

  5. GM5043322

    Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft (3) - Install - Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement

  6. GM5049695

    Brake Pedal Retainer (1) - Install NEW

  7. GM5049697

    Brake Pedal (1) - Connect

  8. Ensure the locking tabs on the brake pedal retainer are fully engaged in the brake pedal (1) the retainer is attached securely to the brake push rod.
  9. GM5318210

    Wiring Harness Retainer (3) - Secure [2x]

  10. Brake Pedal Position Sensor Electrical Connector (2) - Connect
  11. Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
  12. Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side - Install - Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side
  13. GM4234198

    Power Brake Booster Bolt (1) - Install [2x] - Power Brake Booster Replacement 

  14. Radiator Surge Tank - Install - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LTG)Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LFV)
