WARNING: Refer to SIR Warning . Preliminary Procedure Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement
1	Driver or Passenger Seat Back Frame Fastener [4x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Remove the seat back frame bolts. Prepare the bolts for installation as follows: Remove all traces of the adhesive patch from the bolts and the mating threads using the appropriate tools. Clean the threads of the bolts and mating threads with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry. Apply thread locking adhesive to the bolts. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the bolt. Tighten 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
2	Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame Procedure Engage the seat adjuster locking retainer to keep the seat track locked in position during removal. Disconnect the electrical connector. Transfer components as necessary. Disengage the seat adjuster locking retainer to unlock the seat track after installation.

Prepare the bolts for installation as follows:
1. Remove all traces of the adhesive patch from the bolts and the mating threads using the appropriate tools.
2. Clean the threads of the bolts and mating threads with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the bolts. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the bolt.

Tighten
45 N.m (33 lb ft)

Procedure

Engage the seat adjuster locking retainer to keep the seat track locked in position during removal.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Transfer components as necessary.
Disengage the seat adjuster locking retainer to unlock the seat track after installation.
