Installation Procedure

  1. Install the BPMV primary brake pipe.
  2. GM2739674
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Connect the primary brake pipe fitting (1) at the BPMV and tighten the fitting to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. GM2739672

    Connect the primary brake pipe fitting (1) at the master cylinder and tighten the fitting to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. GM2738929

    Install the primary brake pipe to the retaining clips (1).

  5. Connect the EBCM electrical connector.
  6. Reposition the radiator surge tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LFX) .
  7. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
  8. If equipped with RPO LFX, install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LFX) .
