Installation Procedure

  1. GM2917407

    With the aid of an assistant, load the instrument carrier (1) to the instrument panel tie bar to the locator pins.

  2. Reposition the instrument panel wiring harness into the vehicle position as was noted in the removal and connect the fasteners securing the instrument panel wiring harness to the instrument carrier (1).

    Install the heater and air conditioning remote control (1). Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Remote Control Replacement .

  4. GM2913583

    Install the disc player (2). Refer to Disc Player Replacement .

  5. GM3018636

    Install the steering column (2). Refer to Steering Column Replacement (N37)Steering Column Replacement (N38) .

  6. GM3286838

    Install the instrument panel assembly (1). Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement .
