Front Floor Console Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the front floor console extension - right side. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Remove the front floor console extension - left side. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Replacement - Left Side .
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the access plate.
  4. Remove the access plate fasteners, then the plate from the console.
  5. Disconnect the transmission range selector lever cable terminal from the shift lever pin.
  6. Release the transmission range selector lever cable retainer and remove the range selector cable from the transmission control lever base.
1 Front Floor Console Bolt (Qty: 8)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Procedure 
Pull back the carpet and insulator to access the fasteners from the floor console.
Tighten 
7 N.m (62 lb in)
2 Front Floor Console Bolt (Qty: 2)
3 Front Floor Console

Procedure

  1. Disconnect electrical connections.
  2. With the aid of an assistant lift the floor console rearward and upward away from the instrument panel assembly.
  3. Transfer all necessary components.
