Circuit/System Verification

Verify no other DTCs are set.
- If any other DTCs are set
  Refer to : Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step : If no other DTCs are set
Verify the condition does not exist :
- Fuel Type - Incorrect
- Fuel - Contaminated/Poor Quality
- If a condition exists
  Refer to : Fuel System Specifications , / Contaminants-in-Fuel Diagnosis
- Go to next step : If no condition exists
Inspect for aftermarket devices which may affect the operation of the system.
- If a condition exists
  Repair or replace as necessary
- Go to next step : If no condition exists

NOTE:

Time to set this DTC may take several drive cycles

Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to : Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step : If the DTC is not set
All OK.
