Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Disconnect the appropriate electrical connector : Q18 Fuel Pressure Regulator
    3. NOTE:

    The component's temperature should be 24 to 26°C (75 to 79°F) while testing.

  3. Test for 2.6 to 3.0 ohms between the test points : Component terminal 1 & 2
    • If not between 2.6 and 3.0 ohms 

      Replace the appropriate component : Q18 Fuel Pressure Regulator

    • Go to next step : If between 2.6 and 3.0 ohms 
  4. Test for infinite resistance between the test points : Each terminal of the component & The component's housing
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the appropriate component : Q18 Fuel Pressure Regulator

    • Go to next step : If infinite resistance 
  5. All OK.
