Circuit/System Verification

Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify there are no DTCs set related to the following component/system :
- B34 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
- B66 Intake Air Temperature Sensor
- B75C Multifunction Intake Air Sensor
- Fuel System
- If a related DTC is set
  Refer to : Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step : If a related DTC is not set
Verify the scan tool parameter : EGR Temperature Sensor 1, 2 = -39 to 999°C (-38 to 1, 830°F)
- If not the specified value
  Refer to : Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step : If the specified value
Verify the scan tool parameter : EGR Temperature Sensor 1, 2 & IAT Sensor 2 = Not within 20°C (36°F) of each other
- If not the specified value
  Refer to : Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step : If the specified value
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to : Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step : If the DTC is not set
All OK.
