Circuit/System Verification

  1. Verify DTC P0070 - P0074, P0111, P0112, P0113, P0114, P0117, P0118, P0119, P0128, P0601, P112F, P1621, P2610 is not set.
    • Go to next step : If none of the DTCs are set 
  2. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
  3. Verify the following parameters are within 15.8°C (60°F) of each other :
    • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor
    • ECT Sensor
    • IAT Sensor 1
    • If not within 15.8°C (60°F) of each other 

      {Ambient Air Temperature Sensor} Refer to : DTC P0071-P0074

      {ECT Sensor} Refer to : Circuit/System Testing

      {IAT Sensor 1} Refer to : DTC P0112, P0113, or P0114

    • Go to next step : If within 15.8°C (60°F) of each other 
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.

    Verify the DTC does not set.

    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to : Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step : If the DTC is not set 
  5. All OK.
