Circuit/System Verification

Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify no other DTCs are set.
- If other DTCs are set
  Refer to : Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step : If no other DTCs are set
Ignition - Cycle Off and On
Verify a click can be heard or felt at the component when the scan tool control function was commanded : KR75 Engine Controls Ignition Relay
- If a click cannot be heard or felt
  Refer to : DTC P0685-P0687, P0689, P0690, P1682, P16A7, P16AF, or P16B3
- Go to next step : If a click can be heard or felt
Replace the component : K20 Engine Control Module
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to : Diagnostic Aids
- Go to next step : If no DTC is set
All OK.
