Circuit/System Verification

Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify no other DTCs are set.
- If any other DTCs are set
  Refer to : Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step : If no other DTCs are set
Verify the scan tool parameter : Throttle Body Idle Air Flow Compensation = Less than 90%
- If 90% or greater
  Refer to : Throttle Body Cleaning
- Go to next step : If less than 90%
Engine - Idling - At normal operating temperature.
Verify the scan tool parameter : Engine Speed = -100 to +200 RPM of the Desired Idle Speed
- Go to next step : If not the specified state
  Go to next step : Refer to : Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step : If the specified state
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- Go to next step : If the DTC sets
  Go to next step : Refer to : Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step : If the DTC does not set
All OK.
