Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Perform the scan tool control function : HO2S Heater Bank 1, 2 Sensor 1, 2 - On and Off
Verify the scan tool parameter :
- HO2S Heater Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status Bank 1, 2 Sensor 1, 2 = OK or Not Run
- HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status Bank 1, 2 Sensor 1, 2 = OK or Not Run
- HO2S Heater Control Circuit Open Test Status Bank 1, 2 Sensor 1, 2 = OK or Not Run
- If not the specified state
Refer to : Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step : If the specified state
- Perform the scan tool control function : HO2S Heater Bank 1, 2 Sensor 1, 2 - On and Off
Verify the component turns On and Off : B52 Heated Oxygen Sensor
- If the component does not turn On and Off
Refer to : Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step : If the component turns On and Off
- If the component does not turn On and Off
- Verify the scan tool parameter :
- HO2S Heater Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status Bank 1, 2 Sensor 1, 2 = OK or Not Run
- HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status Bank 1, 2 Sensor 1, 2 = OK or Not Run
- HO2S Heater Control Circuit Open Test Status Bank 1, 2 Sensor 1, 2 = OK or Not Run
- Perform the action while monitoring the parameter :
- Wiggle the harness and connector : B52 Heated Oxygen Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector : K20 Engine Control Module
- If not the specified state
Repair as necessary - Wiring / Terminal(s) / Electrical Connector(s)
- Go to next step : If the specified state
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step : If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
