Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Remove the component: Automatic Transmission Fluid Pan
  3. Remove the component: Control Valve Assembly
    4. NOTE:

    Testing for steps 4 to 7 is performed on the component side of the harness connector.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector: X176
  5. Test for 65 to 47, 000 ohms between the test points: Signal circuit terminal 14 & Low Reference terminal 16 @ X176
    • If not between 65 and 47, 000 ohms 

      Replace the component: B13 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor

    • Go to next step: If between 65 and 47, 000 ohms 
  6. All OK.
