Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
- Wheelhouse Splash Shield -Left Front - Remove - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
- Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug. Spark Plug Wire Replacement
Clean the area around the spark plug (1) from all dirt and debris.
- NOTE:
If removing more than one spark plug, place each plug in a tray marked with the corresponding cylinder number.
Remove the spark plug (1).
