Removal Procedure

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

Remove the knock sensor shield bolt (1).
Remove the knock sensor shield (2).

Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
Remove the knock sensor bolt (2).
Remove the knock sensor (3).
