Removal Procedure

- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief
- Drain the fuel tank. Fuel Tank Draining
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Evaporative Emission Hose (1) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Fuel Tank Filler Hose Clamp (2) - Remove
- Fuel Tank Filler Hose (3) - Remove
Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect
- Evaporative Emission Front Pipe (2) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Fuel Feed Pipe (3) - Disconnect - Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.
- Use a suitable strap to strap fuel tank to jack.
- Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Fuel Tank Strap (2) - Remove [2x]
- Partially lower the fuel tank to disconnect the fuel tank fuel pump module and fuel tank pressure sensor connector.
Fuel Tank (1) - Remove
- If replacing fuel tank transfer parts as necessary.
