Removal Procedure

- Relieve the fuel pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
- WARNING:
The noise cancelling foam component MUST be replaced if it has been exposed to engine fluids. Failure to replace the noise cancelling foam component that has been exposed to engine fluids may result in an engine fire resulting in catastrophic engine damage, and possible injury or death.
Fuel Pump Insulator (1) - Remove - Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement
Disconnect the fuel feed front pipe (1) from the fuel feed pipe. Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
Remove the fuel feed pipe bolt (1).
Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (1) from the fuel pump. Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the vehicle.
