Installation Procedure

Position the fuel feed pipe (1) on the vehicle.
- Connect the fuel feed pipe (1) to the fuel pump. Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Install the fuel feed pipe bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Connect the fuel feed front pipe (1) to the fuel feed pipe. Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
- Inspect for leaks using the following procedure:
- Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF for 2 seconds.
- Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
- Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF.
- Inspect for fuel leaks.
