Installation Procedure

Position the fuel pump fuel feed hose (1) on the vehicle.
Install the fuel pump fuel feed hose (2) to the fuel feed front pipe. Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Secure the fuel pump fuel feed hose in the fuel feed and return hose clip (1).
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Install the fuel pump fuel feed hose bracket spacer (3) and nut (2) and tighten the nut to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
- Secure the fuel pump fuel return hose in the fuel pump fuel feed hose clip (1).
Install the fuel pump fuel feed hose clip (2) to the hose.
- Install the fuel pump fuel feed hose (1) to the fuel pump. Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Install - Heater Inlet And Outlet Pipe Replacement (LWN with K08) , or Heater Inlet And Outlet Pipe Replacement (LWN without K08)
- Prime the fuel system. Fuel System Priming
- With the engine running, check the fuel system for leaks.
