Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
- Engine Mount Bracket-Left Side - Remove - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side
Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
Remove the fuel feed and return harness bracket nut (1).
- Remove the fuel feed hose protector bolt (2).
- Remove the fuel feed hose protector (3).
Remove the fuel injection pump metering valve fasteners (1).
- Remove the fuel injection pump metering valve (2).
Remove and DISCARD the fuel injection pump metering valve o-ring seal. The seal is NOT shown.
