Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Install the fuel injection pump metering valve (2).
Install a NEW fuel injection pump metering valve o-ring seal. The seal is NOT shown.
- Install the fuel injection pump metering valve fasteners (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Position the fuel feed hose protector (3).
- Install the fuel feed hose protector bolt (2) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the fuel feed and return harness bracket nut (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
Connect the electrical connector (1).
- Engine Mount Bracket-Left Side - Install - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
- Prime the fuel system. Fuel System Priming
- With the engine running, check the fuel system for leaks.
- If replacing, perform the high pressure fuel correction reset.
