Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ensure ALL fittings are clean and dry prior to assembly.
Position the NEW fuel injection fuel feed pipe (3) on the vehicle.
- Start both of the NEW fuel injection fuel feed pipe fittings (1, 2) by hand.
- Tighten the NEW fuel injection fuel feed pipe fittings (1, 2) in alternating increments to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
Install the fuel return pipe (1). Fuel Injection Fuel Return Pipe Replacement
Connect the electrical connectors (2) to the fuel injectors.
- Connect the engine wiring harness clips (1) to the vacuum pipe and the fuel feed pipe.
- Replace the fuel filter. Fuel Filter Replacement
- Prime the fuel system. Fuel System Priming
- With the engine running, check the fuel system for leaks.
- Engine Cover - Install - Engine Cover Replacement
