Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Command the Fuel Heater Relay On and Off with a scan tool. An audible click should be heard with each command.
    • Go to next step : If a audible click is heard 
  3. Verify with a scan tool that the Fuel Temperature Sensor parameter slowly starts to rise.
    • If the Fuel Temperature Sensor Parameter does not start to rise 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step : If the Fuel Temperature Sensor Parameter rises 
  4. All OK
NOTE:

Perform the fuel heater relay Component Testing before proceeding to Circuit/System Testing.
