Circuit/System Verification

  1. Verify that no additional DTCs are set.
    • Go to next step: If additional DTC is not set 
  2. Review the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data, the Engine Speed should exceed 5000 RPM.
    • If greater than 5000 RPM 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If less than 5000 RPM 
  3. Verify there is no engine damage.
    • Go to next step: If there is no engine damage 
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  5. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set 
  6. All OK.
