Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify that DTC P00C7, P00E9, P00EA, P00EB, P00EC, P0101, P0102, P0103, P0106, P0107, P0108, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0119, P0128, P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P020A, P020B, P020C, P020D, P0216, P0261, P0262, P0264, P0265, P0267, P0268, P0270, P0271, P02EE, P02EF, P02F0, P02F1, P0405, P0406, P049D, P062B, P062D, P113E, P1197, P1248, P1249, P124A, P124B, P126A, P2147, P2148, P2150, P2151, P2227, P2228, P2229, P2230, P2452 - P2456, P2470, P2471, or P2472 is not set.
    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. Verify the following conditions do not exist:
    • Exhaust system leaks - Refer to Exhaust Leakage .
    • Aftermarket engine calibration
    • If a condition is found 

      Repair as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If no condition is found 
  4. Perform the Diesel Particulate Filter Service Regeneration
  5. Verify the regeneration completed.
    • If the regeneration did not complete 

      Replace the exhaust particulate filter.

    • Go to next step: If the regeneration completed 
  6. Verify DTC P24A4 is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 

      Replace the Diesel Particulate Filter.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  7. All OK.
