Circuit/System Verification

  1. Engine idling.
  2. Verify the scan tool DPF differential pressure parameter is within 0 - 10 kPa (0 - 1. 5 PSI).
    • If not within the specified range 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If within the specified range 
  3. Engine idling at operating temperature, verify that the DPF Differential Pressure parameter is between 0 - 3 kPa (0 - 0. 44 PSI).
    • If not within the specified range 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If within the specified range 
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  5. Verify that the DTC is not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set 
  6. All OK.
