Circuit/System Verification

  1. Verify the proper fuel is used and there is no contamination. Refer to Fuel System Specifications , and Contaminants-in-Fuel Diagnosis .
  2. Verify that DTC P228A or P228B is not set.
    • If DTC P228A or P228B is set 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If DTC P228A or P228B is not set 
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
    • If DTC P228A or P228B sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If DTC P228A or P228B does not set 
  4. All OK.
