Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P02E8, P02E9, P16A0-P16A2 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
- Engine at Idle Verify the scan tool parameter:
- Intake Air Flow Valve Control Circuit Open Test Status = OK or Not Run
- Intake Air Flow Valve Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status = OK or Not Run
- Intake Air Flow Valve Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status = OK or Not Run
- Intake Air Flow Valve Control Circuit Shorted Test Status = OK or Not Run
- If not the specified state
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- Clear the DTCs.
- Ignition Off - For greater than 1 min
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P02E1, P02E4, P02E5 is not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
