Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0106, P0107, P0108, P2227, P2228, P2229, P2230, P227B, P227C, P227D, P227E is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
- Verify the following conditions do not exist:
- Q38 Throttle Body - Loose Clamps / Visible Damage
- Air Cleaner Element - Dirty / Restricted
- Intake Air Duct & Intake Manifold - Cracked / Loose Clamps / Visible Damage
- B75C Multifunction Intake Air Sensor - Cracked / Loose Clamps / Visible Damage
- Air Inlet Valve - BARO Sensor 1 @ K20 Engine Control Module / Leaking / Missing / Clogged /Visible Damage
- O-Ring @ B65 Intake Manifold Pressure and Air Temperature Sensor / Leaking / Missing / Visible Damage
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation System - Leaking / Incorrect connection / Restricted
- Vacuum Hoses - Kinked / Leaking / Incorrect connection /Restricted
- Vacuum leak @ Engine / Intake Manifold / Q38 Throttle Body
- If a condition exists
Repair or replace as necessary.
- Go to next step: If no condition exists
- Verify the scan tool parameter:
- BARO Sensor 1 = Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure - The value should be within the range listed in the table.
- BARO Sensor 2 = Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure - The value should be within the range listed in the table.
- MAP Sensor = Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure - The value should be within the range listed in the table.
- If not in the specified range
- { BARO Sensor 1 } Refer to: DTC P2227-P2230
- { BARO Sensor 2 } Refer to: DTC P2227-P2230
- { MAP Sensor} Refer to: DTC P0106, P0107, or P0108
- Go to next step: If in the specified range
- All OK.
